Environmental protection programs

In all lines of its activity our Company pays proper attention to the environmental protection issues. We develop the culture of responsible attitude toward an environment among the employees of Concern Galnaftogaz and among the clients of OKKO filling complexes network.

In the course of cooperation with International Financial Corporation (the group of the World Bank) and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Concern Galnaftogaz passed an ecological audit; ecological plans, which we adhere to in everyday activity, were developed jointly with these organizations.

Since 2008 the Sector of environmental protection – the unit, which specializes on the ecological programs, have been operating in our Company. Staff ecologists are working on every branch of the company.

Our initiatives in the direction of environmental protection are realized on a few levels. First of all, we adhere to all legislative, normative, legal and sanitary requirements concerning environmental protection, while building and exploiting OKKO filling stations. The important aspect of nature protection activity is also our product policy. Realizing oil products of European quality through the OKKO network, we offer oil products which are less influencing the environment comparing with domestic oil products. In fact, all high-octane fuels imported by our Company conform to the hardest European ecological standards and also to EURO-4 and EURO-5 standards. Except for that, we are developing the realization of liquefied and compressed gases.

Another direction of Company's activity in the field of environmental protection are own projects, directed on the upbringing of responsible attitude toward an environment for our employees and clients.
