According to the international financial accounting standards, consolidated profit of Concern Galnaftogaz for the first quarter of 2008 amounted to 1149.7 million UAH (590.1 million UAH in the first quarter of 2007). The company profit increased by 95%, what was connected with the growth of product sales, as well as with the growth of prices for oil products, sales of which makes an essential share in the sales structure.

EBITDA in the first quarter of 2008 increased by 63% and reached 72.0 million UAH (44.1 million UAH in the first quarter of 2007). Company net profit for the first quarter of 2008 increased by 95.1% and constituted 27.2 million UAH (14.0 million UAH for the same period of the previous year).
