«We do not have other way, but to consolidate all forces in society», – says Vitaliy Antonov

Yesterday the solemn session of city council took place in L'viv on the occasion of Local government day. Among others L'viv mayor Andriy Sadovyi, chief executive of L'viv regional administration Mykola Kmit', chief executive of L'viv regional board Myroslav Senyk, L'viv mayor in 1990-1994 Vasyl' Shpitser, chief of L'viv regional department of Ministry of Internal Affairs lieutenant-general Vasyl' Pisnyi, chief of Security Service of Ukraine in L'viv region Anatoliy Matios took part in the festivities. Vitaliy Antonov, head of the Board of Directors of Concern Galnaftogaz, appealed with a congratulatory word to the representatives of local government.

«We do not have other way, but to consolidate all forces in society to get out a crisis. Local government can rally people. And, as far as I am concerned, an accent needs to be made not on political disagreements, but on the idea of economic development of region», – Vitaliy Antonov marked. Touching the items of present economic situation in the world and in Ukraine, Vitaliy Antonov marked, – «It is impossible to avoid today's crisis, however its blow can be softened. For this purpose we need to stimulate an internal production in the state, in particular, by support of small owner, because he is precisely the basis of healthy market society. We have such potential. During more than 40 years of Soviet power enterprise spirit was not destroyed in our Galychyna», – Vitaliy Antonov marked.

Touching the item of necessity of reforms in Ukraine, Vitaliy Antonov marked, – «I consider that it is necessary to reform tax legislation in Ukraine now. It should be made maximally quickly and effectively. Today Ukrainian system of taxation consists of over 90 types of different taxes and collections. Taxes must be simple and clear for an ordinary businessman and citizen, and everybody must pay them. At the same time the substantial lowering of rates of taxation and real diminishing of tax pressure on business and society must take place. It will help maximally to get the unaccounted turn-rounds out of shadow, and to involve them in the consolidated turn-round of the state, it will give quite another GDP growth rates, other statistics of sociology, it will improve сardinally the manageability of the state. In addition, it will enable the liquidation of system corruption in society. And the most important thing – it will create serious, base conditions for birth of middle class, will turn the state to the small owner, because exactly he is the support and foundation of it. Actually enormous reserve of our society and economy is covered here. But, to involve it, one should conduct extreme reforms», – Vitaliy Antonov emphasized.
