Concern Galnaftogaz supported the ecological project “Save the resources”

First, among the students of L'viv’s universities, SIFE team from Ivan Franko L'viv National University starts social and ecological project, which consists of two parts:

– The first part is directed to diminishing of energy and water consumption in buildings belonging to Ivan Franko National University of L'viv. Within the framework of this action students will paste up special informative stickers in order to attract students' and lecturers' attention to the lack of drinking water and deforestation problems as well as to negative impact on environment of electric power production.

– The second part is aimed at interesting the studentship in exchange of a waste paper for the discounts in different shops, movie theaters and other entertaining establishments and also in food service and catering shops.

«Our primary aim is to interest people in handing over the waste paper and to remind to everyone about environmental depletion and the importance of their rational consumption. We would like to show, that for the realization of socially important project not large financial and administrative resources are in the first instance, but the initiative and creativity of citizens, which is also particularly relevant within the days of economic crisis», – the co-ordinator of the project “Save the resources” Nadiya Kunynets' marked.

The playbills of the project have been spread in the Ivan Franko National University of L'viv, L'viv Polytechnic National University and Danylo Halytskyi L'viv National Medical University. The system of discounts has also been developed.

Within the framework of the project in the building of economic faculty of Ivan Franko National University of L'viv, waste paper collection campaign will also take place. This project will last from 28th of April till 28th of June 2009.
