Subsequent to the results of the rating arranged by the Allukrainian business weekly Vlast' deneg once every three months, Vitaliy Antonov took the first place among businessmen which enter «the second league» of owners of the biggest financial and industrial groups of Ukraine in 3Q09.
Among achievements, for which the first place was awarded, the experts of the weekly marked: the inclusion of EBRD into the share capital of Concern Galnaftogaz, the increase of Concern's EBITDA, operating and net income in comparison with 2008, putting into operation of new OKKO filling complexes in 3Q09, the cease of pilot project with a franchising network (jobbers) and the cease of use of OKKO brand by it, and also the opening of blogs of OKKO filling complexes network on five Internet resources.
Among other important achievements of the holding, Vlast' deneg experts pointed out the obtaining of AMCU permit by Concern Khlibprom to concentrate a share of more than 50% for shareholders-sole proprietors in Yavir-Mlyn LLC (the producer of flour), and public plans of UDC Holding development company, which is also an integrated part of Universal investment group, to build the four-star hotel Novotel in L'viv till the end of 2011. UDC Holding has planned the construction of another object for 2010-2011 – «Symphony» business-centre in Kyiv in Green Building format. This will be the first building in Ukraine fully built with the use of energy-saving technologies.
We should emphasize that in the rating by Vlast' deneg Vitaliy Antonov was in advance of such businessmen, as Volodymyr Kostel'man, Leonid Yurushev, Serhiy Tihipko, Yevhen Chernyak.
