Prime Minister of Ukraine has appointed Vitaliy Antonov to a post of a member of Council of Investors within the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

On the 19th of October the Secretariat of Council of Investors within the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reported, that Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko integrated Chief Executive Officer of Concern Galnaftogaz Vitaliy Antonov into the Council of Investors with the instruction from the 10th of October № 56530/1/1-09.

Prime Minister had proposed Vitaliy Antonov to join Council of Investors after his appearance at L'viv Economic Forum, where he expressed the set of suggestions concerning improvement of investment climate in Ukraine. «Ukraine should develop and implement an effective Investment code, – Vitaliy Antonov mentioned at Forum, – and step by step build up a reputation of our state as a competitive country for attracting investments».

We should remind, that the representatives of leading Ukrainian and international financial institutes and businessmen enter Council of Investors within the Cabinet of Ministers, created in 2008, particularly, IFC Country Representative in Ukraine Оlena Voloshyna, Country Chairman for Shell in Ukraine Patrick van Daele, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Jorge Zukoski, president of Boeing Russia/CIS Serhiy Kravchenko, Ernst & Young managing partner in Ukraine Oleksiy Kredysov, CEO of ArcelorMittal corporation Lakshmi Mittal, President of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council Morgan Williams, Germany’s Economic Delegate to Ukraine Karin Rau, World Bank Director for Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine Martin Reiser, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Industrial Union of Donbass Serhiy Taruta, Director General of Microsoft Ukraine LLC Erik Franke etс.

Minister of Economy of Ukraine and Head of the Secretariat of Council of Investors Bohdan Danylyshyn sent Vitaliy Antonov a letter of congratulation with the integration into Council of Investors.

The destination of Council of Investors and its working groups activity is to alter the legislation of Ukraine for the improvement of investment climate in Ukraine. 13 working groups are established within the Council of Investors.
