In September 2009 the CNG station was put into operation near the town of Jurong East (Singapore); area of the station is 7000 m². 46 pump hoses operate at the station. Owing to largeness the station was marked in Guinness Book of World Records, as «the world's largest CNG station».

Business activity of Concern Galnaftogaz during 1 quarter of 2009 resulted in positive operational and financial data. Revenue (according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) accounted for UAH 1 014,6 mln, including retail sales of oil products which equaled to UAH 827,6 mln.

Long-term negotiations and discussions on major terms and conditions of equity deal resulted in positive approval of given equity project by EBRD Board of Directors meeting held in London on 16 June.

On Thursday, 21st of May, at the oil depot of Zakarpattya branch of OJSC Concern Galnaftogaz in Khust during planned reservoir cleanout as a result of short circuit inflammation of 95 octane fuel evaporation in the reservoir with total volume of 700 m3 occured.

Following the results of the second stage of research «Business, guided by values», which was conducted by L'viv Business School of Ukrainian Catholic University, Concern Galnaftogaz took the third place.

27 April 2009 regular general meeting of shareholders of OJSC “Concern Galnaftogaz” was held. The Meeting have approved a report of the Director of the |company for 2008 and determined main directions of business activities of the company for 2009. In February 2009 European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Concern Galnaftogaz signed the Term Sheet on the investment project in the amount of $50 million as investment in the share capital of the Company.

On February, 18 two new highway OKKO filling complexes were put into operation in Ostrytsia village (Novoselytsia district of Chernivtsi region). New filling complexes are located at addresses Chernivetska str., 16, and Chernivetska str., 33, opposite to each other.

The Head of the Board of Directors of Concern Galnaftogaz Vitaliy Antonov and First Deputy Head of the Board of Directors Yuriy Kuchabskyi take part in the activity of International Petroleum Week 2009 – the largest forum in Europe on questions of fuel and energy sector. The forum opened today in London, and it will last till February, 19.

Оn February, 12 the disk Music of old Rzeczpospolita was presented in L'viv Organ and Chamber Music Hall. Collection, which consists of 21 compositions, was produced on materials of concerts of Sixth early music festival Since time of Rzeczpospolita, which took place in L'viv in October, 2008.

Last assignment of rating was conducted on December, 11 2008 on the level of «uaA+» with «stable» forecast.

In 2008 Concern Galnaftogaz entirely satisfied its creditor liabilities on the repayment of development loans. Thus in 2008 SMB loans, which our company took in 2003 from EBRD through Nadra Bank, and in 2004 through Kredytprombank, were fully redeemed.

In December 2008 European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Concern Galnaftogaz signed the mandate letter on the investment project to the amount of $50 million as the subordinate debt and investment in the capital.

In accordance with the rating published by all-Ukrainian magazine Gvardiya, Yuriy Kuchabskyi, First Deputy Head of the Board of Directors of Concern Galnaftogaz, entered Top 250 of most successful leaders of enterprises of Ukraine.
